I am currently in the USA and recorded this Thanksgiving special episode whilst I was still in the UK.
Thanksgiving is one of the holidays that I am truly jealous of, that we don’t have our own version of this in the UK.
I have seen first hand how powerful the act of being grateful and thankful are on the mind and generally for improving mental health. It is almost impossible to feel sad or depressed when we are feeling gratitude.
I share with you in this episode my own experience with Thanksgiving in America back in 2014 and how ever since then I have been sold on the holiday as a great thing which encourages positive energy and overall thankfulness.
Gratitude is powerful and allows us to focus on everything that we are and what we have, instead of focusing on all of the things we don’t have or that we want.
I hope this episode wherever you are in the world allows you to focus some of your own time or energy on what you are thankful for.
