In this weeks episode of the ‘Let’s Talk Mental Health’ Podcast I am joined by the inspirational Mike Dayem.
Mike is a writer and coach aimed at shifting the stigmas surrounding mental health, utilising his own experiences and education to help others.
We start things off by learning more about Mike’s story and what his experiences were like growing up and how he struggled with his mental health at an early age.
It is coming through these struggles and doing the work on himself which has led him to coming through the other side and wanting to help others do the same.
One of the ways in which he has done that is through his first book “Suicidal to Superhuman: Accepting Mental Illness & Its Role in Global Sanity” which you can purchase right now here: https://amzn.to/3dnuLdr
In our conversation we also dive deeper into what it means to be an empath and why we need to go deeper than just “I’m an empath” and look at how to thrive in a world where certain things are going to be more challenging when you are sensitive to certain energies around you.
I’m sure you will take something away from this episode, and if you would like to find out more about Mike and look at ways you could work with him then you can check him out using the links below:

The concept for “Let’s Talk Mental Health” is quite straight forward. To chat with my guest in a neutral comfortable environment where we can be open and honest about mental health issues and talk about our own experiences.
Men need to talk more about Mental Health and this series is looking to address that by showcasing what others have been through and highlighting that vulnerability is a strength.
